Performance Intercoolers
An intercooler is a radiator or more correctly a heat exchanger positioned between the turbo and the intake manifold. It’s sole purpose is to get heat out of the intake charge that the turbo put into the charge while compressing it. The efficiency of an intercooler can therefore be measured on how much temperature it can remove from the intake charge! Not quite, there are other things to consider when designing an intercooler like pressure drop and turbo reaction time (lag).

However, removing heat from the intake charge has two huge areas of merit.

First, the reduction of temperature makes the intake charge denser. The increase in density is proportional to the change in temperature. Denser intake charges make more power.

Second, but no less important, is the terrific benefit to the combustion process brought about by reduced temperatures in the intake charge. These two areas of merit are the reason a properly designed intercooler can increase the power and/or margin of safety of the turbo charged engine.

Central Diff Lock Kit
Solenoid Activated Central Diff Lock

When the Disco Series 2 was released Landrover decided that the Central Diff Lock (CDL) was not needed as they had introduced Electronic Traction Control. This kit will reintroduce the ability to lock the centre diff via a switch on the binnacle.

This can only be fitted to a Disco II that has the spigot on the transfer case. Landrover decided to phase this out from mid 2001. Please check that you have it on your transfer case before ordering; Click on the link below to check on where to find it.

2003 Headlamp upgrade kit
Make your Discovery 2 look even better by replacing the old style headlamps and flashers by the 2003 model integrated headlamps. The kit includes 2 headlamps, bridge panels, finishers (not painted), headlamp boxes and the required bolts. An instruction manual (Norsk) with many pictures shows in a clear way how to do the upgrade.

This is not an easy DIY job. It requires replacing the spot welded existing headlamp boxes by the later type using both drill and cutting disc, and making a new cable loom to fit to the later type connectors. We can do the job for you – ring for details: +47-63928500.

Stainless steel door hinge set – 5 dørs

Wheel spacers
These steel rings bolt onto the wheel hubs and provide a little over an inch more offset for the wheels from the hubs. This extra inch offset per wheel provides enough clearance to regain the full turning lock and enables fitting of larger tyre sizes. Not only do they give a more agressive look but they give more stability, allow better articulation and they reduce the vehicles turning circle. Fitting can’t be easier – simply remove the wheel, bolt on the spacer and bolt the wheel onto the spacer.

A kit includes 4 spacers, and a set of 20 wheel nuts to fix the spacers to the hubs.

“Xtra” high back seat conversion for 60/40 split second row seating
Suitable for 110 Station Wagons, 110 & 130 Double cabs. Utilising simple straps & clips it is easily fitted & provides an excellent level of comfort & support. Easily removed, allowing the second row seating to be folded down as normal. Give your children & passengers the support they need! This provides an alternative to replacing the 60/40 seating with the three individual frames & high back seats. Available in most trim variants.
